Nitrogen Fixing Species for Agroforestry Systems
An essential component of regenerative design is the Nitrogen-fixing perennial plants within the community of fruit and nut trees. These plants can pruned at regular intervals to provide biomass for surface mulch and to release a biological source of nitrogen to the surrounding productive plants and soil life by means of root shed associated with top pruning.
In this booklet, we'll look at how to select plants for your designs and profile four species that we use within our farm. forest garden and landscape designs.
Also included with the booklets is a Nitrogen-Fixing Plants spreadsheet that lists a range of nitrogen-fixing trees, shrubs, herbs, and climbing plants.
Once you have made the payment you will receive an email with your eBook with a link to design spreadsheets.
